Presented by Alberta Hospice Palliative Care Association. Facilitated by the generous spirit of instructor Clarissa Maitri Snyder, all funds raised will go directly to benefit AHPCA programming.
No experience is necessary. This workshop focuses on simple and slow techniques; it is appropriate for anybody.
Volunteers, professionals, families, people in grief or not – all are welcome.
Participants must be over 16 years of age.
Have only a light meal before your session.
Yoga gear is not required; just comfortable clothing.
You may change at the venue if needed.
Please bring a yoga mat, a light blanket and a pillow.
You will learn how to notice what is going on in your body and being OK with it.

- Standing meditation with light
Instructor Clarissa Maitri Snyder was raised in Edmonton and now lives in Karlstein, Germany with her husband and sons. She and her family are active hikers, bikers, climbers, paddlers, skiers and swimmers.
In addition to Grief Yoga, she teaches Business Yoga in English and Chair and Laugh Yoga to seniors in German. She volunteers as a hospice helper as well as a palliative care companion for seniors.
